UBIC is a cryptoUBI meaning that UBIC coins are not generated through mining but distributed following a universal basic income scheme.
To join the UBIC cryptoUBI distribution program all you need to do is to scan the NFC chip of your passport with your iPhone in order to prove you are a unique individual. Once this is done you'll receive a cryptoUBI share in every new block that is generated.
What information are read from the NFC chip?
The app reads the digital signature from your passport to ensure your passport is real.
It doesn't read any of your personal information such as your name or facial image from the NFC chip.
